Rules:

1. Only entries that retain a "I Love Sydney" picture on their Facebook Page and a link to Sydney100.com (any page) will be considered for a prize.

2. If you win, you must maintain your winning entry on your Facebook Page until the end of the year (31.12.2010).

3. Only your first two emails or postings onto Sydney100.com's Facebook Wall each Calendar month of the competition will be considered for a prize. The winners of any additional prizes that are announced during the life of the competition remain in contention for the main prizes at the end of the competition.

4. We will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent.

Information on how to enter, rules and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Sydney100.com reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Sydney100.com accepts no responsibility for any incorrect, ineligible, invalid, late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestions on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including but not limited to, any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. Failure by Sydney100.com to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

Employees (and their immediate families) of Sydney100.com, sponsors and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to receive a prize. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, Sydney100.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant. The competition commences on 21/07/10 and ends on 31/10/10 AEST. The judging will be completed on or before the 30/11/10. The winner will be notified by email or through Facebook. Sydney100.com reserves the right to conduct a Poll to test the popularity of each entry but not to be bound by the results. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on the merit of the answer provided to the question "Why, or how much, you love Sydney" and the prominence of the "I-Love-Sydney" picture. Sydney100.com’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Sydney100.com reserves right to remove or delete any entries posted on to its Facebook Wall or distribute them in anyway Sydney100.com determines. Emails to Sydney100.com and postings to Sydney100.com's Facebook Wall should be in English. Emails and posting in any other language maybe deemed invalid. Sydney100.com reserves the right to remove or ban anyone from its Facebook Page or Wall for offensive or inappropriate postings and any other reason Sydney100.com deems fit and without notice. The best valid entry will receive a cash payment of A$1,000.00 (or equivalent in another currency) by a means determined by Sydney100.com. Second prize is a gift certificate to be supplied by RedBalloon. Third a cash payment of A$50.00 (or equivalent in another currency) by a means determined by Sydney100.com. All payments and gift vouchers are in Australian dollars. Sydney100 may amend or add to prizes. Any transactions costs are the liability of the winner and will be deducted from the cash prize if necessary. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian however Sydney100.com accepts no responsibility if an entrant misrepresents his or her age. If, for any reason, a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by Sydney100.com, then the prize will be forfeited. Sydney100.com hereby expressly reserves the right to disqualify any winner for any inappropriate behaviour online or off or for behaviour deemed harmful to the reputation or commercial interests of Sydney100.com. All entries submitted become the property of Sydney100.com. As a condition of entering into this competition, each entrant licences Sydney100.com to use their entry without remuneration in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each entrant warrants to Sydney100.com that each entry submitted is an original literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify Sydney100.com against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty. Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Sydney100.com, Sydney100.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Sydney100.com (including its related websites, owners, officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Sydney100.com’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Sydney100.com) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Sydney100.com; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize. As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner may be requested to sign or to agree to any legal documentation as and in the form required by Sydney100.com and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form. To the extent permitted by law, Sydney100.com will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking a prize. All entries become the property of Sydney100.com. Sydney100.com reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. "Sydney100.com" is defined as the Sydney100.com website including its owners, directors, employees and managers. This competition is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Entrants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
