Top Things to do in Sydney

Corporate Team Work

Whether it is Corporate team building, management bonding, entertaining clients and potential clients, staff office party or just a group of friends looking for something different the answer is at hand! Below are just a few of the more interesting ideas available through Redballoon.

If you want more details or would like to book follow the links below.

Yachting Corporate Regatta

The Corporate Yachting Regatta is a great way to promote communication, leadership and teamwork skills. Motivate your staff and bond with your clients through a fun race day on Sydney Harbour that everyone will remember long after the race is run.

Corporate Yachting Regatta

Your staff and/or clients are divided into two crews between 7 to 18 members. The yachts range in size from 33 to 45 feet. After a brief briefing on the wharf, the teams board the yachts and receive a brief safety brief from the Skipper. From there it is off to the starting area to begin practicing manoeuvres. Prior to the start, both teams will jostle for position before the start gun goes off. The teams will sail the yachts around a course of natural landmarks on Sydney Harbour.

Please note that, whilst food and drink is not provided, BYO is more than welcome. Catering can also be arranged upon booking.

No previous experience is required and all team members are equally encouraged to participate. A minimum number of 14 'sailors' are needed to ensure all is plain sailing.

Corporate Beach Volleyball

There's the surf, sand and hopefully some sun but the best bit is the fun that will be had as colleagues and clients get stuck in. This is a great team building thing to do that will improve teamwork, communication skills and give your clients a positive reason not to forget you.

You will be coached by the best in the business then compete against your colleagues and clients in a team building mini tournament event. The day can either include an organised skill instruction and / or a mini-tournament. It just depends how much time you have and your team requirements.

There is usually an hours long instruction session, where you will be taught the basic skills and rules of the game followed by a one hour mini tournament.

The tournament provides an opportunity for you to make award presentations to staff members and clients. During the tournament you may observe characteristics from your staff that may surprise you, hopefully for the betterment of all concerned.

Afterwards, go for a quick dip in the ocean followed by a refreshing drink at the local bar or pub to cement the camaraderie that you have created.

Laser Skirmish Combat Mission (3 Combatants)

laser skirmish sydney

The bush is your friend as you edge ever nearer, the only sound is your heart is pounding in your ears, snap! a twig breaks under your foot, you duck down, have you been seen? you wait, you move on, getting ever closer to your target..this is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:

The Death Match

Kill or be killed. The equation is simple. It's you, or them. You get unlimited replacements/re-spawns. Replacements are taken from your base and everyone gets 8 hit points (hits they can take before they must go back and get a replacement).

Dead or Alive

The mission is over after 25-30 minutes, the team that has taken the least replacements wins. This mission is great warm-up because every player, plays the whole mission and its very forgiving of mistakes.

Base Assault

Base Assault is so good you get to do it twice. Once as the aggressor, once as the defender of freedom, liberty and a better world (well, you have to get into character :)

Are you a Survivor?

This mission is to have the nearest survivor to the flag after 25-30 minutes. The attackers will generally get more replacements, than the defenders. Each team will have between 5 and 8 hit points. Usually the defenders also get 1 or more claymore mines!

What do you get?

The price includes the latest technology Laser Skirmish weapons (50-150 metres range, configurable to semi-automatic, fully-automatic), professional referees, full camouflage outfit and ammunition - minimum 270 rounds per mission.

Battle Ready

Each session runs multiple missions. Most sessions will consist of approximately 3 missions. If missions end quickly, that is, the battle objective is reached early (e.g. capture base & overthrow opposing team quickly etc) another mission will be conducted.
