Football Fever - Courtesy of Westfield Chatswood - Tuesday 6th - Saturday 10th April

Football Fever is a fun school holiday activity centre where your kids can show off their football skills. As part of the activity centre, kids will join a team of 10 as a trained football coach takes them through a 20 minute non-stop football training regime.

Activities include goal kicking, football challenges, ball skills and the EA Sports Zone, where kids can play the 2009 FIFA World Cup game on XBox and Wii.

The Surry Hills festival will be celebrated in parks and other sites across Surry Hills on Saturday 10 April including Prince Alfred Park, Ward Park (Devonshire Street) & Shannon Reserve (Crown Street). The Surry Hills Community Centre will also feature including some great activities for the young and young at heart. Satellite events will take place in venues across the suburb.

The Funky Zoo - 12th - 15th April 2010

The Funky Zoo is an Australian musical for children 2 and over. The Funky Zoo tells the story of a curious little girl who dreams herself into a zoo one night. She discovers what the animals get up to after dark and also learns some valuable lessons about friendship and caring for the environment. The show is action packed with colourful costumes, show stopping songs and up tempo dance.

It’s a petting zoo, but not as you know it. A unique and interactive show which takes kids and adults on a journey through prehistoric Australia via an amazing selection of dinosaurs and creatures which inhabited the landscape millions of years ago.

Children will even learn how to feed, water and care for the prehistoric marvels but you can't take them home.

The outdoor Burbs Western Sydney Youth Festival is a music, sports and arts event. Both local and well-known performances come together but not at the same time. You will find plenty of competitions, activities, features, games, market and info stalls, food and rides. Hopefully you have been saving up for this one so you can spend the money on something else. The fun is free. The Burbs Western Sydney Youth Festival is also a drug and alcohol free.

You can look forward to dramatic granite gorges and rainforest-lined banks of the rugged Nymboida River. The river produces rapids renowned among white water enthusiasts. Before getting wet you get to enjoy a two-hour scenic drive that climbs 700 meters through the forests of the Eastern Dorrigo. The main event is a four-hour raft that covers nine kilometres of the upper Nymboida river over rapids up to grade 4-5. Are you up to 'Lucifers Leap', 'Devils 1 & 2' and the 'Decapitator 7 Elkhorn Passage'?

Minimum age is 14 years. You need to bring swimwear, towel,sunscreen & footware such as trainers to wear into the river (they will get wet). All other equipment is supplied as is morning tea, snacks at lunch on the river and a meal at the completion of the tour.
