Golf Midweek Deluxe Break For TwoFollowing the path of champions begins with an hour drive from central Sydney. Set on an established property of over 587 acres in the picturesque Hawkesbury Valley, the facilities will astound. Your stay in the newly built three and four bedroom homes are fully furnished and air-conditioned offering king rooms with ensuites, expansive living and kitchen areas, large balconies, laundry and double lock up garage. Once you have checked in, begin your stay with a complimentary 9 holes of golf (when available). For evening dining options you may bring your own food items using the kitchen and BBQ facilities. Alternatively, we can supply all the meats and salads for a Self Cook BBQ or advise of a variety of local restaurants located nearby. Your continental Breakfast is served in the Brasserie Restaurant as part of your package up until 10.00am OR pre book a Hot Breakfast at $20.00 per person between 8.00am – 10.00am. Take advantage of a crisp morning and book an early tee time. Appealing to competitive and social golfers alike, the 18 hole, par 72 course is truly one of Australia’s best. The expansive and tournament paced greens offer an enjoyable round for the social golfer and a challenging test for those with a low handicap and a desire to win. Home to three PGA and a TPC tournament, the course today has had many influences in design, ranging from five time’s British Open winner Peter Thompson, Jack Newton and originally Archie Keene. Rolling fairways and expansive greens are characteristics of the course complementing the neighbouring Hawkesbury River and wildlife reserve. All golfing enthusiasts, social players, groups, couples or individuals are delighted and amazed with the magnificent golf greens and lavish clubhouse facilities. Once your round of golf has been completed the Brasserie Restaurant is the place to relax for a casual lunch or just a quite drink before a reluctant departure. 4WD Winery & Wildlife TourDepart Sydney for Australia's premium wine region. Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge, see Kuring-gai National Park and the spectacular Hawkesbury River. Leaving the city behind, you will now enjoy the peace of the Watagan mountains, encountering wildlife such as kangaroos, goannas and Bellbirds. After morning tea at 'The Pines' we explore Wollombi Township and pub, then on to an old family winery for wine-tasting before a delicious restaurant lunch served in the heart of the vineyards. After this we explore two more vineyards. Departing the wine country mid-afternoon, we return directly to Sydney. Tiger Moth Scenic FlightUpon arrival at the hangar, you will meet your pilot and ground staff for the day and be shown around the vintage, open-cockpit Tiger Moth aircraft prior to your scenic flight (with plenty of time for photos) where safety aspects will be explained. Then you will be helped to strap yourself into your seat and when all is ready and the propeller has been swung to start the engine you will be up and away on your Tiger moth Scenic Flight. You have communication with your pilot for the duration of the flight and he will make the journey as enjoyable as possible for you pointing out areas of interest as you sit back and watch the world fly past. On return to the Hangar you will be assisted from the aircraft by the ground crew and there will be an opportunity for some further photos. |
